Abstract
In the introduction of her article, the author clarifies the concepts of pre-senior and pro-senior education in the context of the scientific discipline of geragogy in the Slovak conditions. Subsequently, she presents partial results of her own empirical research which, to a certain extent, reflects the level of pre-senior education that means how the current young generation perceives seniors (not only) with health disability as well as the old age and the process of ageing. In the last part of her contribution, the author outlines the basis and content of the actual issue of intergenerational education, respectively she points at integenerational programmes as tools of intergenerational education. At the same time, the author mentions particular intergenerational projects which have been carried out in Slovakia and abroad. Their content and direction can have a potential of pre-senior education and in this way these projects can serve as inspiration and examples of good practice.
