Abstract
If it is valid that under certain circumstances the pupil is more effectively acquiring information in interaction with other people (pupils, peers, or adults), it is necessary to look for adequate ways to encourage that type of learning. At the heart of the article is a comprehensive presentation of the community of inquiry, which is belonging to the field of reflective education, in which the learner learns through the processes of thinking - his own and collective. The Philosophy for Children will be the inspiration for transforming the school class into a community of inquiry, because this program has been successfully implemented in the form of community of inquiry for several decades in several countries around the world.
